DIGITAL MEDIA FESTIVAL 2001 at UP Fine Arts College.:

Though the Festival focused on video-based and web-based works, Lasay made room for audio with a live electronic music session conducted by Lionel Zivan Valdellion (sic), online content editor of Doubleslashmedia.com.

Valdellion illustrated the use of Acid42(sic), a digital compositing program similar to Photoshop where an image is composed by manipulating its various layers.

"The same is true for music," Lasay said, "you have layers of music samples and then you just change some of the variables like pitch and tempo and compile everything into one audio file."
